Vine training system: double-arched cane, grassed vineyard

Winmaking

Vinification: de-stemming, crushing followed by maceration in stainless steel tanks with regular pump overs

Ageing: ageing in the bottle

Sensory notes

Colour: ruby red

Nose: its scent is characteristic and recalls meadow grass

Palate: winey and generous it recalls freshly picked grapes

Food pairing: goes well with hearty savoury dishes in particular with charcuterie and red meats

Serving temperature: 16 °C

Alcohol content: 12.50% vol.

Ageing potential: 6 years

The wild, lush vegetation bordering the vineyards protects the grapes from severe weather, the woods being by nature excellent custodians.
