Vinification: crushing followed by maceration and traditional fermentation

Nose: winey, caressing, and fruit driven with pleasing notes of raspberry and cherry, which turn to tobacco and licorice with age
Palate: dry and generous
Food pairing: goes well with red meats and medium-hard cheeses
Serving temperature: 16 °C
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Ageing potential: 6 years
The wild, lush vegetation bordering the vineyards protects the grapes from severe weather, the woods being by nature excellent custodians.
