Vine training system: single Guyot, grassed vineyard
Vinification: 10/15-day maceration followed by traditional fermentation
Ageing: in stainless steel and wood combined
Colour: deep ruby red with purple highlights
Nose: layered and concentrated unfolding from flowery to fruity with notes that go from violet to plum, morello cherry and bramble
Palate: firm with tannins that are nicely weaved into the fruity notes
Food pairing: goes well with red meats, game dishes, and medium-hard and cheeses
Serving temperature: 17-18 °C
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Ageing potential: 8 years
The wild, lush vegetation bordering the vineyards protects the grapes from severe weather, the woods being by nature excellent custodians.
